Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the few months I was able to join the Cafe’ monthly dinners however our Bishop has encouraged us to participate in a book study on Caste in America on Thursday nights followed by another book study “Raising White Kids” on Thursday nights that will run through the end of the year. Hope you will continue to offer the monthly dinners so I can join again in January.
Thanks, Kimberly. You will be missed! Although January has not been assigned, I am hoping for another fun and faith-filled time. Enjoy the study!
I’m looking forward to trying to share on line about Mothers. My Mom wrote the first Bible Study on the book of John designed for use by small groups of women in the ELCA in 1960-62.
Good morning, I have attended the 2 meetings I have attended since I found out about your group.
I am learning a lot.
I also attended “Blue Christmas ” it was soothing & helpful.
I attended 2 ” Mafnificat” sessions also.
Thank you for sponsoring these sessions
See you Thursday

Recently two friends lost their husbands. One from a tragic accident and the second a heart attack. I shared Blue Christmas with them found the program inspirational.
This will be my first “meeting” and am excited to join in especially as we bring in the new year.
Hi Jennifer! That’s awesome. So glad you’ll be able to attend! We’re looking forward to it.
Will look forward to this meeting. My son Wayne’s celebration of life will be January 4th. He died back on September 20th with lots of complications involved in the death. The police came to my house for my DNA so that the body could be identified, an experience I could have lived without. His cause of death remains in question and must call the detective in charge again. Wayne is now with his sister Lynne who died on 9/9/2019 just 2 years prior to her brother. It is sad but God still needs me here and I live to serve.
Hi Judy. We are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom for the next dinner. Prayers to you as you grieve the loss of your son and daughter.
I would like to attend
Thanks, Maragret! I’ll send you the log in information. Blessings, Elizabeth
I have signed up several times and I have not gotten a link for zoom. Could you please send it to me.
Please continue to invite younger women! They have so much to share and fewer hospitable places and spaces to share in.
Beth, could you provide me with an invitation to a Bold Cafe Meeting from you so that I could give them to women in my church. We baptized a beautiful baby girl last week and her Mom might like to come. I also would provide this invite to other church members.
I registered for the dinner meeting my first time.
That’s excellent, Frances! Welcome. I look forward to seeing you tonight. Please follow the Zoom information that was emailed to you.
I registered for this month’s meeting but got no link for it. I tried to reregister tonight but still haven’t hesrd from anyone.
Hi, Jessica! I’m so sorry the message didn’t arrive you. I found your address in the outgoing email. I’m wondering if it went to another folder. Please join us for the next Boldcafe Monthly Dinner, November 3 at 7 pm (CDT). I send zoom info prior to the event and always a reminder the day of, before noon. Please email me at [email protected] if you wish to attend the next one and I will ensure that you receive the link. Thanks! Elizabeth
Looking forward to participating this event. It is my first time.
So looking forward to this! Kathy, cannot wait to meet you tonight. – Joy
Art as Prayer sounds beyond interesting. I am the lead of the prayer group at my church and we have over 50 members who pray. We are a force to be noticed with the Holy Spirit Holding every word we pray up to God the Father.
I really enjoyed our May event together. Looking forward to the next one!
It is always great to connect with sisters from around the States.
I can’t wait to attend this. I enjoyed your presentation at the Triennial so much.
First time attending and am looking forward to it.
