Take it a step further: Look at an analysis of the EPA fish data by Clear the Air, a coalition of groups working on a wide range of clean air issues including mercury.

The website for Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC)
offers information for families and medical professionals about mercury, its affects, and methods of protection. You can also find links to mercury sources and fish advisories in your state to learn about the contaminants and contaminated species present in your area. This site is also available in Spanish.
