Make a difference with Seed grants
Seeds grants were created to increase the capacity of the Raising Up Healthy Women and Girls health initiative to affect the lives of women and girls. These seed grants go to congregational units who are limited by financial resources in moving forward and continuing the work they have started. The second cycle of seed grants opened September 30, with all applications due no later than December 15, 2011. Grants will be made on a rolling basis, beginning October 1. A total of $50,000 is available with a maximum grant to any one unit limited to $1,000.

Advent: A different kind of journey

This resource offers several practices to explore, each helping you discover what is waiting to be born in you in the upcoming Advent season. Whichever of the practices you adopt, you are invited to follow Mary's example and ponder things in your heart as we await the coming of Jesus. Download now.

This two-part Advent program can be used by a group of any size. You’ll discuss various customs and explore the biblical figures of Advent (Zechariah and Elizabeth, Simeon and Anna, Joseph and Mary, and more). You might use it with your regular study group or as a special Advent Bible study group. Each part takes about 20 to 45 minutes and includes prayer, hymns, Scripture, narration, and discussion. Download now.
