Welcome to the study page!
Use the questions and ideas below to guide your reflection and
conversation on this month's topic.
"Faith reflections" discussion
questions by Kathryn Zurcher
1. How do you view travel? Is it relaxation? Recreation? Adventure?
Opportunity? Or do you think it's a frivolous luxury? Discuss why you think about travel the way
you do. Is it because that’s how your parents viewed it? Is it based
on your own experiences? What could happen if you thought about
travel in a different way? How could that affect your next trip—not
just for you, but for those you encounter while traveling, and for
those you come home to?
2. What do you hope to learn when you go somewhere new? Who do you
talk to and where do you go to get the perspective of those
who call the place you are visiting home?
3. What moments from your travels have been the most significant to
you? Is there a common theme that makes those moments stand out?
4. What spiritual or faith insights have you gained from your
travels?
5. Do you share your travel experiences with others? If so, in what
ways? If not, who might benefit from hearing how travel has
changed your life and faith? Make plans to have that conversation soon. Travel is contagious!
Do you have something you
would like to add to the conversation? Go to
Coffee talk and share your
comments.
