What are you doing right now that is fulfilling your vocation?

I am blessed to be using my administrative gifts to build up partnerships between Wartburg College and the surrounding community. I never thought I would be working in a college like this. God continues to surprise me with how I am of use to God's mission in the world!

Oh, my, gosh. That's how I felt when reading January's edition. It is the very question that I have asking for two years. I quit a "job" ( a well-paying one at that), and am in the process of discerning what it is I am to be "doing," all the while trying to serve in those little ways. I am truly blessed to have a spouse that understands.

My husband and I are in the second year of Lay School. We have found it so enriching!

Women and water:
let's begin

At the 2005 Triennial Convention, delegates took action that asked Women of the ELCA to promote awareness on water issues and encouraged synodical women’s organizations to make awareness of local and regional water issues a priority.
