How are you a blessing to others?
I just finished listening to the video of Martha Stortz. It would be wonderful to have these for presentation to the group before each session. Are they available or do we have permission to download them? What a blessing they would be.

As we went around the circle, I was struck by how many woman named a family member. One of the younger women named her mother as her blessing, a mom she had a great conversation with on the way from work to our study. Another woman named her sons. The next woman named her daughter and her own sisters. Another woman named her brother who had just helped -- without being asked -- after heavy rains flooded her basement. How wonderful it is to be able to name family members as blessings. And how sad it is when family members are far from blessings.

Women and
water:
let's begin
At the 2005 Triennial
Convention, delegates took action that asked Women of the
ELCA to promote awareness on water issues and encouraged
synodical women’s organizations to make awareness of local
and regional water issues a priority.
To learn more about this important action and how you
can get involved, visit
Women of the ELCA's
Web site.
