Journal for health
Living from the Heart of God: A Journal for Life's
Stages offers reflections and journal
opportunities on life's stages. This helpful
book offers devotions on a host of topics from buying a
first home to losing a job or loved one. Small groups on
campus or women's groups in congregations can use this
journal for small group meetings or retreats.
Summer Bible study in LWT
The three-session 2007
summer Bible study in the June and July/August issues
of Lutheran Woman Today magazine encourages us to
"Act
Boldly for Mission." Author Kelly Fryer will energize
Bible study participants with her vibrant writing and
deep faith. This study explores how women can boldly
take part in God's mission to love and bless and save
the world. To be the church, she says, is to participate
in that mission by sharing the good news about Jesus
Christ in word and deed. Use the
Bible study as a
one- day retreat over the summer.
