Women of the ELCA celebrates 20 years of
mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. You can celebrate Bold Women's Day on February 25th with these ideas!

Bold litany
You can celebrate the contribution of bold women with the Litany of Thanks for Bold Women.

Promote boldly
Spread the word about this great celebration, "Bold Women's Day." Check out the posters that you can print out and hang up in your congregation or at school. Also, send an e-card with your bold sentiments to your friends and family.

Share a story about a bold woman in your life
Visit the Coffee talk page and share a story of the bold women that have touched your life.

Making a bold difference
Since 1988, our grants program has awarded more that $2.5 million dollars to non-profit organizations working with women and children in our local communities and around the world. See the list of  recent grant recipients.

Advocacy awaits

Learn more about anti-hunger advocacy from a faith-based perspective. Attend "Sowing Seeds:GROW the Movement to End Hunger and Poverty." This interfaith anti-hunger advocacy event will be held June 9-12 at American University in Washington D.C. The ELCA Pre-Conference will be June 8 at American University.
